REV. DR. VICTOR C. Y. EDWARDS
A Ghanaian by nationality, the General Overseer was born on 5th December 1953 in Ghana. He graduated from the University of Ghana Medical School in 1980, worked as a medical practitioner for 4 years, and was admitted into the College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland to train as a surgical specialist. Following his return to Ghana, he worked in several surgical departments until his retirement from medical practice in 2019.
Many years earlier in 1982, as a young medical practitioner, the Lord told him He was going to use him in the future. It was 16years later before the Lord called him into ministry. The Lord assured him that He will give him the grace to continue practicing his surgical profession in addition to ministry work. The Lord has been faithful and has kept His Word. It is He who has brought FCAC this far.
He is married to Rev. (Mrs.) Mary Edwards, with whom he has two children and four grandchildren.
