The Church

First Century Apostolic Church (FCAC) was started in 2007, with the first branch located at Teshie, a suburb of Accra, Ghana. The vision of the Founder and mission of the ministry is to preach and teach the eternal truth of God’s Word and to operate in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit; just as the first century apostles and disciples did. This is, in fact, the inspiration for the name chosen for the ministry.

In December 2010, the second branch was inaugurated at the port city of Tema. This branch eventually became the headquarters of the ministry. In the course of time and by the grace of God, Michel Camp Branch, Nii Boye Town and Agona-Swedru Branch were also established as the Lord expanded the ministry.

The four branches in Accra/Tema metropolis are fully active with growing memberships. Church programmes are many and varied and include Miracle Services, Tarry’s, All-Nights and Anointing Services. At all church meetings, signs, wonders, miracles and deliverances take place on a regular basis. The Agona-Swedru Branch however, has been designated as a Retreat and Training Centre for Pastors, Leaders and departmental groups etc.

FCAC also has several departments including a well-established Media Department which handles the streaming of church programmes for the benefit of online users.

The Lord has been faithful, and it is He who has brought FCAC so far. This ministry looks forward to accomplishing greater works and taking more territories for the Kingdom in the coming years.

Our vision is to be in word and in deed the “House of God and the Gate of Heaven” (Genesis 28:17) for all those who love and desire to serve God. We exist therefore, to see people saved, delivered, healed, discipled, empowered and equipped for God’s work and glory.

Our mission is to follow in the steps of the Apostles and Disciples of the First Century Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ to:

1. Preach, teach and live the complete and pure Word of God; with God confirming with genuine signs, wonders and miracles.
2. Minister healing and deliverance to those oppressed by satanic forces, by the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit.
3. To reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of God to every corner of the world.

We believe in one God, Creator of all things; eternal, immortal, omnipotent and omniscient. We believe He exists in three distinct and co-equal Persons – The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that all scripture is inspired by God and the complete revelation of His will for salvation and guide for the Christian faith, life and service. (Psalm 19:7-8, Psalm 119:89, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 1 Thessalonians 2:3)

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ as God the Son. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life and miraculous works on earth; His death on the cross at Calvary, resurrection and ascension to Heaven. (Matthew 1:18-23, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 1 John 2:1)

We also believe that He is coming again to judge the world (Matthew 25:31-34, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Hebrews 9:27)

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement. To indwell, seal, comfort and guide the believer. We also believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit that empowers the believer for godly living and service. (Romans 8:14-16, John 16:13, 2 Thessalonians 2:13)

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross at Calvary provides the ONLY redemptive ground for salvation and justification for all who believe and receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour. We believe these are the true children of God, born again and saved by grace through faith in Christ. (John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Peter 3:18, John 3:3)

We believe in the Rapture; which is the coming of Jesus Christ for His Church i.e. believers. They will be caught up in the air to meet the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:17) We also believe in the bodily second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to judge the world; and the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost to everlasting life and everlasting punishment respectively. (Acts 24:15, Romans 6:23, 1 Corinthians 15:20-24, Revelation 20:15)

We believe the Universal Church is made up of all who are saved. They constitute the Bride and the Body of Christ. The Church is endowed with the Holy Spirit’s divine grace, anointing and giftings to worship God, spread the gospel and work signs and wonders to confirm the Word. (Acts 3:6-8, Acts 8:5-7, Acts 28:3-5)

We believe in and we have proof of the existence of Heaven. We also believe Hell is real and we have proof of its existence.

Christ crucified between two thieves (sinners) signifies the awesome grace and love of God for all men. One of the thieves chose to blaspheme Jesus and “died”. The other chose to confess Him and “lived”. And that is the message of FCAC to the world.
